Cube were appointed to act as the Client’s representative in monitoring a Developers design and construction of a new build office block, 8 No. trade counter units and refurbishment of existing warehousing to form 4 No. industrial workshop units, with associated external works including landscaping, dedicated service yard and car parking areas.
The completed office and industrial development achieved Very Good BREEAM rating.
Renewable energy was provided by a 15 KW wind turbine generator system linked to the National Grid.
The treatment of Japanese Knotweed was a particular issue in remediating the site prior to and post Development.
The project was carried out at Commerce Park, Birkenhead in association with the European Regional Development Fund,
EU & Merseyside part funding and Yorkshire Bank.
