Heritage & Conservation

Cube provides specialist conservation and heritage advice through our Historic Building Consultancy.

Cube are involved with the inspection, repair and adaptation of listed and historic buildings and provide advice to a wide range of property clients in relation to conservation and historic building projects. 

Cube are expert advisors to the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) and a number of local Authorities and Dioceses within the Church of England.

We are accredited surveyors for English Heritage grant assisted schemes.

  • The Historic Building Consultancy is headed by Director Stuart Prescott, who has previously been privileged to work on some of the most important historic buildings in Britain for Historic Royal Palace Agency, Railway Heritage and National Trust, as well as a number of smaller private clients.

Cube are fully familiar with the legislation surrounding the protection and preservation of Listed Buildings and Schedule Ancient Monuments and understand the procedures and sensitivity required to obtain consent to work on these buildings. 

Cube are listed in the Building Conservation Directory (BCD) and are members of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC).
