Cube were appointed as Project Managers, Contract Administartors and CDMC for this successful new design and build mixed office and industrial development.
The project comprised the design and build of a three storey building of high specification purpose built office space. Ground and first floor offices were fully furnished to provide serviced office suites. The second floor was open plan office space, subsequently occupied by a local NHS PCT, all fully air conditioned.
Two terraces of varying sized industrial/work space units incorporating roller shutter doors, gas fired space heaters, manager’s office, dedicated WCs and all main services connections, were built on the remainder of the site, all landscaped with both hard and softscape finishes.
Site redevelopment includes internal road layouts, re-aligned main entrance configuration, dedicated servicing, car parking and security.
A Very good BREEAM rating for Offices and Industrial Units was achieved pre and post construction.
The project was carried out in association with Yorkshire Forward Development Agency, North Barnsley Partnership Limited and Objective 1 South Yorkshire. The project was part financed by European Union, European Regional Development Fund, and Yorkshire Bank.
The project was completed successfully and fully let post completion.
