Cube was commissioned to conduct condition surveys of more than 600 listed buildings and structures including, war memorials, boundary stones, mills, signal boxes, hunting lodges and private houses.
Cube’s Approach:
Over a three month period, Cube systematically surveyed all the listed buildings that are under the care of West Lancashire District Council. During the exercise, Cube built a bespoke database and uploaded the results of the surveys thus enabling early identification of buildings most a risk and the appropriate reactive timescales. A proportion of the structures required immediate attention and Cube served repair notices and provided specialist advice to the council regarding procedures. Cube has been appointed by the council to provide these surveys on an annual basis.
