Refurbishment and new build extension to the 6th form college. Cube was appointed to provide CDMC services for the extension of a sports hall which was to be integrated onto an adjacent site, plus a refurbishment of a lecture theatre on the same site.
Cube’s Approach:
The adaption of the existing facility was required whilst the college was still open. A CDM plan was put together which was sensitive to the requirements of the college and their daily activities. Due to the lack of ‘as built’ drawings, extensive survey work was carried out by Cube to ascertain the materials of the existing buildings and ultimately ensure that it was safe to undertake the required works.
Cube continues to work with Nelson College on further enhancement schemes across the campus.
