In complying with the improvement strategy for pre Hospital Emergency response and care (Lord Bradley’s report into the National Ambulance Services 2005), Cube Property Consultants have recently advised South Central Ambulance Service in locating a number of Rapid Response /Ambulance Standby Points in their Region.

Significantly one of the locations was in “Green Belt” where a “Portakabin” facility was to be located at Hazlemere Golf Club, which was identified under SCAS selection criteria as a “Gold Standard” location.

The proposal itself was initially classed as an inappropriate development within the green Belt and, as such Planning Permission would not be granted; however following consultation with the Wycombe Planning Dept, a Report & Planning Statement was prepared to demonstrate this facility as being a very special circumstance, which provided additional benefits to the Community. Cube worked closely in conjunction with SCAS and Higham & Co. Planning Consultants in compiling the necessary detailed data to assist in demonstrating this was a very special development.
