Many of our team at Cube are mountain biking enthusiasts.  

In June 2011, Mike Corkill, Stuart Prescott and Marc Serridge participated in the fantastic “Passportes du Soleil” mountain biking event, which is based in Les Gets, France and covers 75km of Alpine trails linking France and Switzerland.

The views were truly breathtaking and the riding pure adrenalin; descending over 6,500m in one day was an experience never to be forgotten.

The weather was glorious, the temperature reaching a scorching 34ºC, but this didn’t deter us as there were plenty of well organised pit stops along the route, rammed with local produce and specialities from each village which kept us fuelled and hydrated along the way!

More than 6000 entrants of all nationalities and a mixture of MTB abilities take part in this event every year, which makes for a fantastic ‘party like’ atmosphere and we made some great friends over the weekend.

We plan to take part in the event again, which will take place in late June 2012.
